AVC Son of a Preacher Man

Breed: Huacaya
Heritage: Peruvian/Chilean
ARI Registration # 31370738
Animal Type: Junior Herd Sire
Birthday: December 31, 1969
Description: Son of a Preacher Man - Billy Ray to his friends - is a full-sibling to Bazooka Joe (read about Joe in our sold alpacas section). Billy Ray is tall and proud and he's just gonna knock your socks off when you see him. He has great bone and coverage and his fleece is outstanding: dense, tightly crimped and a joy to touch. Billy Ray is just another example of the excellence we are seeing in Tellicherry's crias. Bazooka Joe was the brown huacaya male champion at the 2007 NM State Fair Alpaca show and he also won a blue ribbon at the 2008 SWRA show (level 4 show). We expect great things from Billy Ray too. This guy is gonna be fun to show until he is ready to start working in your breeding program.

Description: Tellicherry may be the perfect black huacaya. He is drop dead gorgeous and is wearing tons of silky black fleece. Telli's fleece is exceptionally dense with well-defined crimp and lock structure. His leg and head coverage is enviable and his conformation and bite are correct. Telli is a stylish male and a great example of the huacaya phenotype. He was a joy to show and list of wins is quite impressive. Telli's 2005 fleece analysis is just icing on the cake.
