The Alpaca Show Seminar

Come to Alpacas del Valle Cereza for a day of fun learning about how to show alpacas. The seminar is taught by AOBA Certified Judge Lisa Shimeld and Brad Johnson of Alpacas del Valle Cereza and Julie and Lauren Campbell of F-leece Station Alpacas. Registration includes handouts, snacks and lunch. Topics covered include:

  • Showing your alpacas to it's best advantage
  • Packing for the show
  • Training your alpaca for the show
  • Transporting alpacas safely
  • What IS  the Judge looking for in a winner?
  • Marketing opportunities at shows

Basic Alpaca Maintenance Seminar

We will cover a diverse list of practical topics at this seminar and you're sure to have a wonderful time working with these gentle and intelligent creatures. If you are new to alpacas, an experienced breeder or considering entering the alpaca business there  is sure to be something new to learn. Just like all of our seminars, this one is a bargain - registration is only $25.00 per participant and includes a catered lunch from the legendary El Charo Mexican restaurant.

The 8th annual Buy the Right Alpaca Seminar

Are you considering purchasing alpacas? Are you a new alpaca owner? Are you interested in learning more alpacas? If so, be sure not to miss this informative and intensive seminar. A large variety of topics will be covered by alpacas experts including the owners and operators of Alpacas del Valle Cereza, El Corazon en las Nubes, Pacatudes and Dr. Harriet Howe, DVM.

Registration is $100.00 per participant or $150.00 for two from the same "ranch" until November 20th. $125.00 per participant after this date. Handouts, breakfast, lunch and wine and appetizers Saturday. Breakfast and lunch provided on Sunday.
